Production Process Design
Operations management can be grouped into four broad categories:
Directing the overall strategy of the operation, which requires a deep understanding of the processes and their strategic purpose, together with an appreciation of how strategic purpose is translated into reality.
Designing the products, services and processes, with a focus on demand characteristics such as volume, variety, variation, and visibility.
Planning and controlling process delivery from suppliers through the total operation to customers.
Developing process performance by identifying opportunities for streamlining work or reducing waste. This can be formalised through Lean / Agile / Kaizen or Continuous Improvement techniques, delivered through our partners.
The principals have experience both as former manufacturers with The UNITE Group plc, and from developing a wide variety of manufacturing facilities in the UK, Asia, Australia, and Africa.
