Production Process Design

Operations management can be grouped into four broad categories:

  • Directing the overall strategy of the operation, which requires a deep understanding of the processes and their strategic purpose, together with an appreciation of how strategic purpose is translated into reality.

  • Designing the products, services and processes, with a focus on demand characteristics such as volume, variety, variation, and visibility.

  • Planning and controlling process delivery from suppliers through the total operation to customers.

  • Developing process performance by identifying opportunities for streamlining work or reducing waste. This can be formalised through Lean / Agile / Kaizen or Continuous Improvement techniques, delivered through our partners.

The principals have experience both as former manufacturers with The UNITE Group plc, and from developing a wide variety of manufacturing facilities in the UK, Asia, Australia, and Africa.
